This winter, we were lucky enough to experience firsthand the extraordinary, biodiverse ecosystem along the Amazon River. The unique Amazon River dolphin, one of the few freshwater species remaining in the world faces severe threats such as pollution, habitat, loss and human activity, placing its future at risk as its population continues to decline.

The Amazon River Dolphin Conservation Foundation (ARDCF) has a mission to conserve the Amazon river dolphin and its environment through research, education, and collaboration. Their work with local communities, scientific research, and ongoing conservation efforts help to conserve the dolphins and the river systems they depend on. Supporting ARDCF helps to protect the existence of a species found nowhere else on earth while preserving the vital biodiversity of the Amazon River.
