Most of you have the privilege of knowing a few of the McReynolds family from Faire. Raye is always out in the walk ways dishing out the best hugs, Maurine is constantly dazzling us with her charm and beautiful smile. Along with Alicia, Shawna and Cody, this loving family has watched their mother Treacy endure the throws of Breast Cancer.
This a rally cry to everyone that has gotten one of those hugs, that has laughed with Maurine, that has enjoyed a Ghost Walk in Galveston with Alicia...this is a long journey for all involved, especially our strong as hell Treacy! We ask kindly that you would give what you can to assist with this fight! Let us help ease some of the financial burden so this beautiful family can concentrate more fully on what they ways have...love and loving each other.
Give what you can, every little bit is much appreciated and remember to SHARE SHARE SHARE!!!
And now, a note from Treacy:
I would like to thank all of you beautiful people for wanting to help me with my Medical Bills. I thought that you would want to know what type of Cancer I have. I have Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer stage 3. I have already gone through an aggressive Chemo with the use of 4 different Chemo Drugs. They removed my breast and all the lymph nodes on my left side. They put a spacer in my left breast so it will stretch my skin while I go through the rest of my Cancer treatment. One of the knots was the size of a small egg. They could not find it any more but unfortunately they still found traces of the cancer cells in my lymph nodes. Therefore I was given 30 treatments of radiation. I am being given a fairly new Chemo Drug now for the next few months .When I am finished with this I will have my reconstruction surgery. I know how depressing this all sounds but I have found so much to be thankful for. I have more friends than I ever knew I had. I know a lot of you know my husband Raye McReynolds has been so strong and has taken great care of me. He has held me while I cry over some of the changes my body is going through. My daughter Maurine McReynolds has been able to help me raise money to help me with my bills. My Daughter Shawnna McReynolds has given me some money to help. My daughter Alicia and I have been bonding over the meds she is taking for her MS is doing some of the same things I am going through. I have tried to make things easier by wearing silly things to chemo. I have been given little gifts from friends like Susan and Robert during one of my bad days. I am so lucky to receive all this blessing. I wish I could express how touched I am and much love I have been given. Raye and I wanted so bad to be at faire but due to my health he is here with me. God I love him for staying here with me. I love my life and all the people in it.
