Hello. Thank you for taking the time to read about Ian's story. Karate, theater, hiking, rock-climbing, music, fencing, karaoke, you name it, Ian is always eager and ready to join in as well as help out when needed. His smile and positive attitude can brighten up a dreary day. After graduating from high school and earning a postsecondary degree in Web Design and Interactive Media, Ian was excited about the future and a new job; immersed in preparing for a promising future. All of that came to a halt when Ian was told that a mass in his parotid gland needed to be removed surgically because of what was suspected to be a malignant tumor. Less than two months after losing his grandfather to cancer earlier this year, our worst fears were confirmed, and Ian has now found himself in a battle of his own against cancer. One CT scan, a surgery, and PET scan later, he is preparing to embark on the next chapter in his fight against cancer. Ian will need to travel out of state for treatment which means he will need to be absent from his job for 8 weeks during which time he will not be receiving any income. All funds raised will be used for travel, living, and medical expenses. Any amount that you can donate is truly appreciated; no amount is too small. We thank you all from the depths of our hearts.
