I started this GoFundMe to support my family after my dad was detained by the police and is now being transferred to an immigration detention facility. He was our main source of income, and now without him, we are unable to afford common living expenses like paying bills and allowing my youngest 4-year-old autistic sister to keep going to her therapies. Any help would mean the world to us and we would be greatly appreciated.

My dad came to the country 23 years ago with the hopes of giving his children a better life. He worked as a freelancer for drywall companies. On the night of October 4, 2025, after a long day at work, he was about to pick up his teenage daughter from work when, at 10 pm, he was stopped by the Dallas police. It was later known that he was arrested for a traffic violation and taken to a detention center to await trial. The next day at 5 pm, he was given a bond for 500 dollars and was told he was free. However, after paying bail, he wasn’t allowed out, and through a call, we were informed that he now was facing possible deportation proceedings. This money will be used for any legal expenses or living expenses. As if it wasn’t enough not long ago he fell from a 5 ft ladder, fracturing part of his skull and his shoulders. Thankfully, he recovered but some symptoms still remained like headaches and body aches. His family are greatly worried and working hard on getting him back to us. We greatly appreciate any support.
