As hundreds of California fires burn  meet my cousins, the Haentjens Family. They lived in Boulder Creek until their home burnt down last night. 

The beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains with it’s majestic Redwoods in Boulder Creek area is where Ryan was raised. Full of wonderful childhood memories he wanted his own children to experience all that nature and a small community has to offer. As I type this it’s been less then 24 hrs ago this sweet family lost everything...a house full of memories, children’s items, work, and school.  Even down the road, the oldest (1902) CA state park, Big Basin Redwood State Park...all burnt with only ashes as a reminder of what was. 


We invite you to please join our family in this financial campaign to help relocate and replace everything for this family’s basic needs. Please continue to pray  for them. Please give if you feel led.

And please pray for additional family, including elderly members, who have homes close by in the fire's path.
