Help Brandon Overcome Health Challenges

Hello, My name is Brandon

I’m in a real rough spot right now. I need help with misc Doctors appointments, therapy, psychiatry, pain management visits and my physical & mental medications.

I have exhausted all my resources. Savings, 401k, credit cards, sold a lot of my stuff, filed for bankruptcy, etc. I have also filed for disability and been denied once and refiled in March 2024. I have some help from my family and my girlfriend. I’m on food stamps/EBT so I am not going to starve but still need help.

My story:

In 2019 I injured my back very badly. I had a a double discectomy surgery and made it back to work after a lot of physical therapy. Unfortunately i injured it over & over again. I pushed my body pretty hard as a dock worker. Workin 12hr and 14hr days. A lot of times back to back. On top of that, by early 2021 I had a severe mental breakdown. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, and severe anxiety & depression. I know some of these issues were probably undiagnosed but my brain had changed as well from trauma. My short term memory got zapped. I can no longer memorize things and my times and days blend together. My body and back is bad right now… I walk with a Cain. I can’t sit, walk, stand, or lay down long at all due to the severe pain. I lose balance and it feels like my legs and back are on a short battery life all the time.

I really need help at this point and I feel horribly asking but I’m out of options. I have never done a gofundme for myself and used this as a last resort. If disability does get approved I will shut down the gofundme.

There is one last thing I feel I need to explain. Some of you know I do music. I don’t get a lot of streams and only make pennies off of it “which I am thankful for those pennies btw” but please know my set up is very simple and it’s for therapy. It gives me a sense of purpose with all the stuff I’m going through. I don’t perform live anymore because I can’t memorize anything, plus the physical issues. And the way I have to record is nothing to be proud of. It’s a piece here, a piece there, a pain nap in between, etc. I guess I just worry that some people might think I'm performing like a rockstar in my room when that couldn’t be further from the truth…
