I’ve never met a human more resilient than Crystal Wood. I don’t think the woman understands how to do anything halfway. There is no version of her that is toned down or inauthentic, meek, or mild. She is strong. She is vibrant. She is warm. If you are lucky to know her, I’m sure you also love and respect her.
After putting her second hard fought battle with breast cancer behind her, Crystal and her family had finally found some stability after so much struggle. But now my dear friend is fighting the battle of her life. Crystal suffered a major stroke on Tuesday, February 16th. She is being treated in Kelowna BC, and is currently in a medically induced coma.
With her family’s blessing I’m starting this campaign to support Crystal and her family to ease some of the financial burden to come. This campaign will help support Crystal by keeping her family close during this impossible time and during her recovery ahead.
The goal of $7500 is intended to support Crystal by providing her family with funds to cover the costs of staying away from home in Kelowna for the next month. Any funds left over will support Crystal's recovery costs.
