When we launched this initiative back in 2018, we had the simple aim of helping some of the poorest patients at Zewditu Hospital with the expenses of their care. Last year we raised over £1000 and we were able to support patients in the Hospital by paying for X-rays, medications and the cost of their inpatient stays, and were able to see how the money raised made an instant and direct positive impact on the lives of many patients, particularly those who would otherwise be unable to access the healthcare they needed.
