Papa ️

Papa to his son and daughter but Nelson to all of his friends and family. On January 11th, papa was found unconscious and rushed to the Trauma center at university Hospital where he was diagnosed with the flu which than turned into DKA, where in a person with diabetes causes there sugar to sky rocket and eventually their organs start to fail. His kidney’s were not doing well which resulted in the start of dialysis.

After days of treatment the flu turned into pneumonia which then filled his lungs with mucus. Papa spent days on a ventilator and oxygen, and dialysis treatment untill he started to turn for the better. On February 6th the doctors noticed that papa was not getting enough oxygen so they ran more test to see why. Unfortunately we’ve come to the conclusion that papa has a mucus plug in his lungs which is not curable.

Doctors have suggested to make papa as comfortable as possible untill he is ready to become another angel in the sky ️

Papa was a proud tow truck driver and absolutely loved his job at Velez Towing and Dente Brothers. His favorite color was yellow and he loved his twizzlers.He leaves behind his wife,Farrah Ortiz. His son, Joshua Bonet and His Princess, Brianna Rodriguez. As a family we ask for any donations that is possible in which will be put towards papa’s cremation. He asked to be spread in Puerto Rico where he will spend his serenity on the beach because all he wanted to do was live and die Puerto Rican ️
