Hello and blessings to all, my name is Ray Sabater, and I am contacting you to ask for your support during a very difficult time in my life.

I recently moved to Barcelona from New York after surviving a violent attack outside my building. I was hospitalized with a serious concussion and a broken hand. Fearing for my safety, I made the difficult decision to leave the country and start again in a new place. Although I had never been to Spain before, my roots are here: my family descends from the Catalan region. I hoped to start a new chapter in the land of my ancestors. However, since I arrived, I have struggled to find work. The main problem is that, although I have my N.I.E. number, I have not been able to complete my registration due to the ongoing problem of not being able to secure an appointment.

Every time I visit the government website, I get the same message: "No appointments available, please try again later." I went to the police station in person, but they won't help me without a scheduled appointment. I've even contacted a lawyer for help, but I just can't afford legal assistance right now. Now I'm out of money and I can't pay the rent or cover the basic living expenses. I'm not looking for a brochure, I just want the opportunity to work, take care of myself and contribute to this beautiful community. If someone can offer help, guidance or contact me with someone who can help with the registration process, I would deeply appreciate it.
