This page has been created to spread awareness about the Ilim College year 9 ‘build a well’ project, which takes place annually. The Year 9 students are working together to raise enough money to build as many wells as possible in various African countries. The wells will be built through Hasene Australia Ltd. (ABN: 21 615 411 508)

The Prophet Muhammed (saws) said, ‘Whomsoever provides a water well will be rewarded until the day of Qiyamah whenever any thirsty human or animal drinks from there.’

Every day millions of people are suffering from lack of access to clean and safe water. Your donation can help change that and can really make a difference. Each well costs around $3,000 so even the smallest amount is a great help. 

Building a well isn’t an easy thing to do on one's own, so here’s your chance to get the same reward by taking part in this blessed opportunity. This charity is also Sadaqa Jariyah. This means that your good deeds will continue to increase even after you pass away, so long as people are benefitting from the well.
