This fundraiser is for our beloved Heidi — someone who has touched so many lives with her strength, friendship, and humor. Recently, Heidi received the devastating news that she has breast cancer and has begun treatment to fight this disease head-on.

As if cancer wasn’t enough, Heidi is also facing the challenge of having to move out of her current home, all while taking time off work to recover from her upcoming operation. She will be out of work for at least a month and is facing growing medical and living expenses during this time.

Anyone who knows Heidi knows that she’s one tough cookie — resilient, loving, and fiercely independent. But even the strongest among us sometimes need help. This is one of those times.
