Local family in need

Update: Sadly, Stephen passed away at home on Friday July 14, 2023. The family appreciates all of your kind words, prayers, and donations. 


Update: Thank you all for your prayers, kind words, and donations. Please keep them coming. At this time Stephen is home and in Hospice care. Any help you can give will be appreciated as the family has to prepare for funeral expenses.

I am asking for prayers and monetary donations for one of my best friends families. Her father has stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized to his brain. He has already undergone 4 rounds of chemotherapy and 5 rounds of radiation. He will be starting his 6th round on the 19th. It will be 10 rounds of radiation to his brain. He just finished 10 sessions (1 everyday) to his lungs. This family has been part of our community since 1960. If you are able to help in anyway, it would be greatly appreciated. As you can imagine, there are many hospital bills, days of missed work, and back and forth trips to Miami. This has not only caused a physical burden on the family but also a financial one. Please help if you can.
