As many of you know, Carl was in a serious Motorcycle accident on the afternoon of May 12th on Maples Road in Ellicottville. He hit a deer and was Mercy flighted to ECMC Hospital in Buffalo. He spent weeks in the ICU for injuries including a hairline fracture in the back of his skull, fractured ribs, fractured clavicle, small chips in his T5 and T6, and a fracture on the left side of his pelvic bone. In mid-June Carl was transferred from ECMC in Buffalo to Select Specialities in Erie, PA where they focused on ways to get him off the ventilator and began long-term Occupational and Physical Therapy. Last week, Carl was finally moved closer to home. He is currently rehabilitating in Salamanca, NY at Salamanca Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

As everyone can imagine, the road to Carl's recovery has been slow and steady, with bumps along the way. Carl is making progress everyday, but the level of care he needs is not cheap. Medical bills, gas costs, and everyday living has been adding up. So many people have reached out asking how they can help (a HUGE thank you to those who already have), so we have decided to start this fund to help alleivate the burden of medical bills for Ali and Ainsley.
