Noreen is a 6 year old girl from Ballinadee in Bandon, Co. Cork. She was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia, (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia - T Cell).

Noreen is a bubbly and happy 6 year old girl. She is a popular member of her senior infant class in school. She lights up a room with her smile and her infectious laugh. She is loved deeply by her parents Helena and Eoin and her two brothers. Her diagnosis on Valentine's Day came as a complete shock to her family.

Noreen is now in the care of the incredible team at Crumlin Children’s Hospital. In the past six weeks she has undergone induction chemotherapy. This treatment has unfortunately not proven to be as effective as her care team had hoped. The next phase of her treatment involves more intensive chemotherapy delivered over a shorter period of time. She may also require further treatment abroad.

During this time, Helena and Eoin have been unable to work as they need to be with Noreen.

Like a lot of young families they have normal expenses which are ongoing and additionally they have the cost of travel and staying in Dublin whilst having no income.

We want to help reduce their stress at an already incredibly difficult time. We would be so grateful for any donation that you can make.

All funds will go directly to Noreen's care or the costs associated with it. Any surplus funds will be donated at her parents request to St Johns Ward, Crumlin Hospital.
