MenTribe is a community-led men’s mental health group supporting men across North Wales through connection, conversation, and the outdoors.
Between 18th–20th April, a core team of 12 from MenTribe will take on Yr Wyddfa 9 — climbing Wales’ highest mountain nine times in under 48 hours, in one continuous challenge.
This challenge isn’t about records, bravado, or proving anything.
It’s about raising funds to support the work MenTribe does week in, week out — creating safe, welcoming spaces where men can show up, walk, talk, and not feel alone.
MenTribe delivers regular community walks, outdoor wellbeing sessions, and peer-led support across Gwynedd, Anglesey, and Conwy. Much of this work is currently delivered voluntarily, despite demand continuing to grow.
All funds raised will go directly towards keeping MenTribe running sustainably — covering essential costs such as equipment, insurance, transport, training, and the delivery of future mental health sessions in the community.
There are no entry fees, no individual fundraising targets, and no pressure to donate. This is a shared effort, backed by trust and belief in what we’re building together.
If you’re able to support, thank you.
If you share the page, that support is just as valuable.
The mountain is the challenge.
The people are the reason.
“Take the first step.. we will take the rest with you”
