Aloha!

Just like many others, we are facing immense challenges in finding suitable housing on the beautiful island of Maui. The constant struggle of moving from one shelter to another has left us mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted. However, a recent visit to Oahu for a funeral opened our eyes to a remarkable transformation in both our children and ourselves. We found ourselves more vibrant, filled with laughter that we hadn't experienced since we lost everything. Our youngest, who has special needs, displayed an unprecedented level of activity and joy. It was like a breath of fresh air for our entire family, prompting us to consider Oahu as a place we could finally call home and begin anew.

The devastating loss of my youngest sibling on October 23rd, 2023, and the responsibility of caring for my nephew, whom my brother left behind, shattered my world. Despite this immense grief, I have had to remain strong for my family, leaving little time for personal healing. I firmly believe that relocating to Oahu is the best decision for our family's well-being. Therefore, I humbly reach out for assistance in securing housing and transporting our belongings to this new chapter in our lives.
