Milo needs your help!
What did we do…
This is Milo’s story, and we need your help big time
Milo, an 11 month old pure bred Bassett Hound, was brought into the ER because he hadn’t eaten in a week and the owners think that he “ate something “ 2 weeks ago. Milo was extremely lethargic and had lost a huge of weight over the last two weeks. X-rays showed a “foreign body” lodged deep within his intestines. Surgery was the only way to save his life as he may not have made it through the night. The foreign body was a corn cob that had started to rot inside and rot his intestines. Unfortunately, the owners could not afford any kind of emergency or surgical treatment and opted, sadly, to euthanize. We could not let that happen. HE’S 11 MONTHS OLD Milo was surrendered to us and the amazing ER doctors at Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center of Westbury saved his life! This was not inexpensive, we don’t have the money, but we couldn’t let him die. We are begging for help to pay Milo’s bill, and when he’s ready, Milo will be adopted to a deserving family.
Please share Milo’s story with your friends and family and donate anything you can to help. EVERY PENNY HELPS! PayPal and Venmo in Bio.
