My name is Ben Robinson. On April 10th, we lost our dad and husband, Barry Robinson, suddenly out of the blue. We came home to find him floating in the pool after experiencing a heart attack. No way any person should find a parent or a loved one. Please by any means make it clear to anyone staying in your home to not go swimming alone with no one home. Especially if they are elderly… Please tell them swimming alone is not an option. The thing about Barry was he ABSOLUTELY LOVED the pool! He was always proud to own a home with a pool. But I’d love to share some beautiful things about Barry. 

He had just become an enrolled agent for the IRS, an achievement he was really proud of. Barry always put his family first, a selfless man always sacrificing his need and wants for others.

He was on his way to pulling our family out of debt and to get us on track financially for the first time in a long time. He created a band in the 70’s with one of his best friends Malcolm and they sold out shows all in upper England opening and closing for other top entertainers. At 11 years old he was a child prodigy on the piano. Playing 13 part concertos. Barry was also a regional Table Tennis Champion in Teeside as well.even when I was a young boy playing table tennis with him in his 60’s he was unbeatable. He was a brilliant mind and such a kinda and caring man. He was our Teddy Bear. 

So we have created this GoFundMe to help me and my family as we are really struggling now. I know Dad would never want us to ever ask for help like this but it is desperate times for the Robinson family now. We humbly ask for your help in this time of need. Any donation big or small will be a massive help to us. We did what we could to give him a proper service (which was beautiful) but now we're looking at possibilities I am too afraid to even post.
