Help Dickie fundraise for Cliona's Foundation

Our good friend Dickie Reddy is going to take on Everest Base Camp this April in aid of Cliona's Foundation. What makes this feat so impressive is the fact that Dickie only started training in 2019 at the age of 56. Now just 3 years later he is taking on Everest Base Camp. Having overcome a lot in his own life, he is now a beam of inspiration and positivity to everyone he meets. His work ethic and desire to help other people has now taken him to his biggest challenge yet. Please help Dickie raise funds for Cliona's foundation by donating whatever you can.

 

Cliona's provides financial support nationwide to families of seriously sick children to help with the non medical "hidden costs" of caring for their child & enabling them to be by their bedside. These costs can include but are not limited to accommodation, travel, car parking, food, specialist equipment, childcare etc. It is estimated that it costs an additional €10,000 per annum to care for a sick child and for many of these families one of the parents has to leave work and are therefore operating on a reduced income. Your donations will make a huge difference.

 

This is such a worthy cause and a fantastic foundation who work tirelessly to help ease the burden and provide financial assistance to families of children with life-limiting or chronic care needs.
