Jim's Cancer Fund

Three years ago my dad Jim was diagnosed with cancer of the prostate. He was told that he has two different types of cancer in his prostate. One is aggressive and one is slower moving. Since this time, it has moved to Stage 4, metastized to the lungs and possibly the heart, and lymphnodes.  Since diagnosis he has had issues with his lungs and heart and suffers from congestive heart failure and A-fib. 

He has been hospitalized twice since May of 2017. While there they removed the fluid from his heart and lungs that is building up from his disease. He has chosen to seek treatment in Reno, NV. He will recieve chemotherapy and care to repair his immune system. 

These treatments and travel expenses will prove to be very costly and must be paid out of pocket as they will not be covered by his insurance. His daughter will also be traveling with him and has left her job temporarily to assist him. 

The effects of his illness have been felt for a long time throughout his family as his daughters, son and wife - Mary - have tried to maintain positivity and a sense of hope while he is engaged in the battle of his life.  All donations will go toward funding his travel expense and care costs while in Nevada.
