My dear friend Polly Peacock has overwhelming medical expenses as a result of her battle with Breast Cancer which has resulted in a double mastectomy and now a suspicious tumor on her pancreas that requires constant testing, and peripheral vascular disease in her left leg. In addition she was through extensive testing for a brain tumor due to her chronic migraines and vomiting. Luckily, doctors concluded it was a result of a concussion. She has had a total of 9 operations in 15 months.
Polly Peacock is exactly as you’d expect someone with her name to be. She is a quirky ray of sunshine with a contagious smile and positive outlook on life. I met Polly a few years ago and have never heard her complain once. Polly loves life and is fighting hard to stay healthy so she can enjoy it. Polly is a happy hippy at heart, with a love of photography, friends, family and music. This world needs more people like her and I’m honored to call her my friend.
Polly is on a fixed income and Medicare which only covers a portion of her medical expenses. Polly is likely to have to undergo two more operations in the next few months. Any donations (no amount is too small) will be greatly appreciated and go towards her mounting medical bills. Funny side note: the picture of Polly is pre selfie era. She took it for a friend going through a rough time. In true Polly fashion she says “you can’t help but smile with a banana in your mouth” We love you, Polly! Keep fighting, keep smiling and keep living your best life ❤️
