As Cody recently shared publicly, he is facing one of the most difficult journeys of his life: a diagnosis of stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. Along with the emotional and physical toll, this fight also brings a significant financial burden.
Cody Addington has been a self-employed general contractor in the Placer County community for nearly 20 years—a community he has called home his entire life. He is truly self-made, building his career through grit, perseverance, and passion. Whether through his work in construction or his dedication to Ultra4 racing, Cody has always poured his heart into everything he does. Unfortunately, both of these livelihoods must now be put on hold while he focuses fully on treatment and healing.
During this pause, easing Cody’s financial stress will allow him to concentrate on what matters most: fighting this cancer with everything he has.
Cody is one of those rare people who shows up—often without being asked. He lends a helping hand because it’s simply who he is. He’s thoughtful, checks in on others, maintains deep and meaningful friendships, cares fiercely for his family, and consistently gives back whenever he can. Many of us have been rocked by this news and are asking how we can help. Right now, the most pressing need is ensuring that Cody has the financial support necessary to get through this fight.
Let’s come together and support Cody the same way he has always supported others—with generosity, love, and unwavering community.
