Assist Our Family In Rebuilding

Hi, I am Jowan.

Friends and family, I am devastated to say that on December 17th, 2021: the place that our family of four has called home in Baltimore went up into flames. My mother, Denise, and my younger brother, Jai were home and fortunately were unharmed. My father, John, was unharmed as well.

Our family home, however, was destroyed in the fire. My family has lost everything: Clothing, furniture, personal documents, electronics, and even decades of old photos documenting our family’s past. Sadly we were not able to recover much of anything and the home is a total loss. Our family is grateful to be here with a story to tell, but we would be remiss not to ask for your assistance in building our lives back together. For far too long, we have been a family that prided ourselves on “just doing it” and not asking for help — not anymore. At this point, we’ve decided to let our guards down and open the gates to receive. If there is anything you can do to help us move into a new home and transition in such an uncertain time, we welcome it.
