Stephen Patrizio Fund
Stephen Patrizio was a bright, funny, determined, and loving boy who grew up in Exton, PA. He attended SS. Philip and James grade school, and a spent four of the greatest years of his life at Bishop Shanahan High School. Here he was shaped and molded into a mature young man whose values and character would have made any parent proud. He played rugby with a group of guys who he would soon become more than just friends, they became his brothers. As a result of his good-hearted nature and friendly personality, Steve easily formed strong relationships with everyone he met. During his Senior year, he had the opportunity to attend a Kairos retreat with his classmates. The impact he left on others as a result of his Shanahan experience was profound. Steve graduated in 2013 and was accepted to The University of Pittsburgh where he studied pre-med. Over the course of the past two years, Steve continued to make friends and affect those around him during his time at Pitt. On the morning of July 5th, at the age of 20, Steve passed away, leaving behind his loving family; two sisters and his parents.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to assist Steve's family in this most difficult time, providing them the means and assistance for whatever they see most fit.
We ask that you please share this among your family, friends, and all who would like to help.
When you pledge a donation, we also ask, if you are willing, to leave a note or recount a memory of(to) Steve or his family that we can place within a book along with some pictures to serve as a memorial of Steve to his family.
We thank you for your generosity, love, and prayers for the Patrizio family in this trying time. God bless!
