Hello! We are hoping to raise money to help my mom who was diagnosed with an agressive cancer - Large B Cell Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL). She has a history of NHL that she has been treated for in the past with chemotherapy (20 years ago) and immunotherapy (for the past 5 years). Unfortunately, the cell type morphed into her current diagnosis. Despite repeatedly telling her oncologist and PCP of her signs and symptoms of a recurrence over the last couple of years, her cancer was misdiagnosed, resulting in a stage 4 diagnosis when they finally caught it. Because of the high cell turnover of the cancer, she suffered with life-threatening tumor lysis syndrome, kidney failure, and congestive heart failure. She needed aggressive inpatient Rasburicase, IVFs and high dose steroids. She gained approximately 30+ pounds of water weight (has since lost this plus more) making it extremely difficult and painful to walk or even lay in bed, and has been dealing with significant pain due to the tumor. Additionally, they found a large bleed in her tumor that required 2 angiograms and an embolization. She had inpatient continuous chemotherapy and will be readmitted for 5 more rounds every 21 days. She also completed 10 rounds of targeted radiation therapy. After spending about a month in the hospital, she is seeing the copays/ambulance bills/hospital bills, etc. . . roll in.

We are asking for financial help because she is unable to supplement her income as she is used to doing. She is a seamstress and an artist and is unable to do that at this time. Any help is appreciated!
