As some of you may know, in June, 2014, I was dianosed with stage 2 breast cancer. After much prayer and careful thought, I decided to battle my cancer using therapies that seek to do damage to the cancer with as little impact as possible to my immune system. Since that time, I've been diligently seeking help from various medical professionals and going through numerous therapies, trying to figure out which therapies work with my cancer.
About 3 months ago, I learned about company in Greece who had the technology to test one's cancer cells against different cancer fighting agents - to see which ones are the most effective. I sent off various blood samples to Greece and in return, they sent me pages of information showing which nutrients and chemicals would work for me.
Armed with this data, and after consultation with the best doctors that I have access to, we've put together a treatment protocol that is specific to the cancer in my body. Unfortunately, only approximately 2% of the cost of treatments and medications/supplements are covered by insurance. My therapies are costing me between about $4000 to $4300 per week on average. I'm raising money to help offset the cost for the recommended current, in-process, 12-week therapy regimen. To date, we've cashed out our retirement accounts and liquidated the equity in our home to pay for this past year's therapies. I only ask for help as a last resort. I am trusting in God to meet this need and if God puts it on your heart to stand with me with prayer or a financial donation, I would be so grateful.
