Hi friends and family. My name is Charlotte (aka Michelle) and I would like to introduce you to my friend Karen. Those of you who know her may describe her as creative, inspirational, fun-loving, adventurous and positive. She loves to work and has a zest for life!

Karen is a strong, independent woman who is always willing to help a friend in need, but right now she is facing a big health challenge and could use our help.

Three years ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer that has spread throughout her body. She is currently undergoing radiation therapy. Pain and side effects of the treatment have rendered her incapable of earning an income. In addition, , Karen must relocate once again by late summer. Finding affordable and decent housing in BC is no easy feat. I am asking you to help me ease her burdens by making a monetary donation. I know times are tough for us all, but any amount of generosity will do. It takes a village to help someone, and I am relying on that village now.

Karen has spent years studying Holistic approaches to healing ones body. She is currently merging natural therapies with her oncology team's care and advice. She is not keen on getting radiation on her brain, where lesions have been detected and has the opportunity to try a less invasive therapy called a Rife machine. Unfortunately this is not covered by our Canadian medical system. Your generosity will also aid in her trying this alternative treatment to eradiate the cancer.

Karen has always been resilient and if anyone can overcome this and use this experience and journey to help others she can! Through all of this she has maintained her positive attitude, and has surrendered this battle to God almighty. We believe in the power of miracles, faith, hope, healing and Karen's God given purpose for her future.
