With the People's Assembly national demonstration on June 21st coming up, we need money to subsidise discounted coach tickets and produce publicity. We also want to organise more actions like the recent bedroom tax action - it cost less than £20 to put on, and was worth every penny.
Last month's Lib Dem conference demonstration left our account close to empty. That's not a bad thing; we think its money well spent. We're lucky to have access to very cheap printing and lots of volunteers, but without a bit more cash, we're unable to make the best of the various possibilities we have.
