When I was a kid, I remember making jokes about having to have brain surgery, and now my wishes are coming true! I will be having a considerable meningioma removed by our fantastic local staff at UCSF. As much as I would love to say I am looking forward to it, this sort of thing causes a bit of stress due to the time it takes to heal.

This didn’t have much planning over the last month. I will be unable to work for six to eight weeks.

Some of you have asked how you can support. I do have a care team set up already to stay with me, but I could definitely use some monetary support for rent and bills. All of your support and well wishes are greatly appreciated.
