This week, things changed. Those who know me, know my pride is sometimes too big for my own good... Today, and the days to come, I will swallow it and ask for your help and support! My mother has cancer, and it’s complicated. It’s so new that we know so little, but it’s in her bones, liver, lungs, and breast. I don’t know what will happen, and I can’t imagine how I can help... but she will need us all to rise up. My mother, Rebecca Harrington, is on a fixed income with Medi-Cal and I’m not sure how we will afford the care she will need. Currently, they are trying to send her to UCSF. Anything you can spare will really help, and would bless my heart. I understand that times are hard, but even a simple prayer could change her life!
