Hello, Mary Heiner here, Some of you who have followed my pregnancy and my life, as friends or just mere acquaintances may know that I have been in constant threat of preterm labor, currently on round the clock medications to prevent early delivery as much as possible, after several trips to the labor and delivery and steroid injections. This has been a  high risk pregnancy where the majority of my time has been spent on bedrest hoping and praying to make it to a safe point, with a subchorionic hemorrhage, anemia, and several scares.
This has caused us to temporarily become a one income household, and with not qualifying for government assistance things have been, well, difficult.
Getting enough money set aside in case of early delivery, has not been easy as many things keep getting in the way of saving. Thats how life always seems to go though, huh? Its a valuable lesson and humbling enough, but we are finally at the point where we need to ask for help. 
My husband now has a hernia due to all the extra shifts he has had to pick up, its been too much on him and now he has to have surgery, of course right before christmas and the expected birth of our son. He is such a hard worker and always will do what he needs to try and get us through hard times.
Our two young girls have also been as helpful as can be and cant wait to meet their little brother.
 
We are asking for just enough to cover a couple paychecks worth of income for my husband to have time to get his surgery hopefully before our little one makes his debut (We cant both be down and out, right?) And to help cover the cost of any copays and deductibles needed for the surgery itself.
This alone will help us at least be fine for now during his time he will have to take off. Any additional help would go towards the savings for our unborn son and his birth, whether on time or early.
