Hello, we are Sutherland, Nathan, Jen, and Dan. We never thought we would need to create a GoFundMe, but here we are. On 1/5/2026, our landlord arrived at our door, informing us that we have to be out by 1/31/2026 because the owner wants to sell the complex. He has since changed that and is giving us until 2/6/2026

We have found a new place to move to, but we need $2,000.00 to move in, plus a U-Haul rental and other small things. Both Sutherland and Jen are on disability, but we had to use Sutherland's check to survive these past weeks, pay the background checks, and pay for rides to and from applying for the new place. Jen normally gets a little over $1,400.00, but they, for some reason, only gave her a little over $800.00 (We are trying to find out why).

We need help, please, we are running out of time. We have the new place, they are holding it for us, but we have to be out of our current place by Friday (2/6/2026) and as it stands right now, we do not have enough for the first month's rent ($1,000.00), deposit ($1,000.00), Uhaul ($200.00-$300.00) and other little stuff we need when we get there (cleaning supplies, trashbags...). We would have sent this earlier, but Jen didn't get paid until today, and we had no idea that Social Security withheld more than $400.00 from her check. Please, anything you can send us is a big help and means more to us than you will ever know.
