Challenge Yourself. Walk for a Cause.

This September, I'm challenging myself—and YOU—to walk 50KM to raise money for cancer-based charities in honor of my beautiful grandma, who has bravely fought her battle with cancer MULTIPLE times. ❤️

I have my own opinions on cancer research fundraising as a whole, so I have chosen two local charities that I have seen first hand help the people I love. All the money raised will be split evenly between -

Sorrentino's Compassion House in Edmonton (where my grandma stayed during some of her treatments, they are AMAZING!)

&

The Alberta Cancer Foundation (the only health foundation in Alberta that supports and covers the entire span of the province, they support all Albertans facing cancer – no matter where they live or the type of cancer they are facing.) Two organizations that do so much to support people and families going through cancer treatment.

But this challenge isn’t just for my grandma.. It’s for my husband’s auntie, our family friends, my best friend’s dad, extended family, and EVERYONE who has been affected by any type of cancer. Because, let’s face it—everyone knows someone.

I invite YOU to take part in this challenge, whether you're walking for someone special or simply to show your support. It’s easy to get involved:

1. Walk any time during September—just get moving and track your distance!

2. Share photos, videos, or screenshots of your walk or your smartwatch, and tag me or use the hashtag #WalkingForGrandma

3. Share the fundraiser link along with it and consider posting a picture of the person you’re walking for.
