You've Got a Friend in Me - Sandy Murphy

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am answering the call to set up a GoFundMe for our friend, Sandy Murphy. Sandy is not only my friend, but she is also a friend to many and has come to many people's aid over the years. She directed several PCE shows and was stage manager for many of my shows. It is now our chance to repay her in some way that will really help her with her medical and general expenses that she is incurring.

The day that Sandy's Mother passed away, Sandy took a fall that landed her in the hospital, she was there for over 30 days. Upon returning home, her husband, Joseph found her not breathing and called 911 which put her back in the hospital, this time intubated and in ICU. Sandy's desire to live and get better won over the intubation and she was moved to a regular room.

Being unable to care for herself at this time, she relied on her husband that way she could return home instead of being sent to a nursing home and because she was unable to get placement. Having not heard from Jsoeph, on Mother's Day (her first without her Mom, Vera), her brother went to their house and discovered that he too had too passed.

All during this time, she had a job and was supposed to be put on short tern disability with insurance (not sufficient to provide her with the care she requires), etc. Well, while she was unable to communicate her company sold, now she has no disability and it appears she has no insurance, along with no income.

Sandy is so very proud and, yes, even embarrassed, but she needs prayers, and help, urgently.

She is so loved and I hope now we can show her just how much.
