Peter Pan (youth dance & theatre company) Go on Tour!

Hi, I’m Karina and I’m hoping to get some help to raise money for my amazing parents’ youth dance & theatre company…

My mum & dad have been running a pre-professional performing arts company for over a decade - this company gives regional kids aged 7-18yrs a chance to audition to be in a show, work with professional directors & choreographers, and perform their works in a professional theatre. I am always in shock at how AMAZING their shows are! The only downside is that they can only ever afford to do the show once each year (my parents donate a LOT of time and money into the productions and don’t have the kids contribute very much financially… the children and their families are so grateful to be a part of it all… it’s an incredible community…)

If we can raise a bit of money I would love to surprise my parents with the news that the 2025/26 company can take their show on a Tour!!!! For some context, the last few years of shows have included shows like Swan Lake, The Tales of Hans Christian Anderson, and a play called Flick. The 2025 Production is ‘Peter Pan-to mine! A show about Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust!’ My parents give everything they can to these amazing kids from regional & rural areas - they help to raise kind, fun, conscientious humans who are full of respect and inspiration. Also - my mum always organises fundraisers through this production group for other charities - in 2024 she helped to raise over $4000 for so many incredible organisations including animal conservation, mental health & childhood illness. And she never asks for anything in return… but I think it’s time the world gives a little something back to her so she can continue to enrich regional youths’ lives. Oh, my parents also offer upwards of $15000 in dance training scholarships to these production group kids every year!!!! When we asked her why she offers so much financial support to so many kids her response was ‘so they can all have an amazing childhood - I don’t want any children to miss out on doing what they love.’ So I’d love to help my mum’s dreams come true of taking the young performers on a tour. I only wish I could sponsor it myself (I’m a new mum, so I don’t think that’ll happen anytime soon haha!) Every dollar will go a long way. Thank you so so much for your help.
