Hello my name is Sandy Akanan, I’m a 17-year-old Lebanese American living in Michigan. A team of motivated youth are organizing a grassroots crowdfunding, in collaboration with a nonprofit organization, Dammmeh for Humanity. We are all working closely with Lebanese grassroots organizations to provide  relief to all those in need in Lebanon . 

On August 4, 2020 an apocalypse and infernal Explosion in the port of Beirut displaced  thousands of people. Not only did the explosion ravage the port, but it also cost of the country’s main point of entry for imports of food, medication and other goods. Entire neighborhoods were leveled  to the ground- over a hundred people died, thousands are injured, and hundreds more are missing.  

This is why we need your help and to support all those affected by this tragedy.
