Youth Hockey Goalie Krys Jakubowski needs our help

Krys Jakubowski, Texas Junior Stars 2004 birth year goaltender, has been invited to the 2019 USA Hockey National Development Camp beginning July 15 in Amherst, NY! This is one of the highest achievements for a youth hockey player. Krys proved elite not only in Texas, but in the whole Rocky Mountain region. His dedication to team, school, family, and competition is incredible.
The Jakubowski Family has gone through so much this past year. Krys's father has been battling cancer since just before Christmas. His father is his best friend and biggest supporter. He went to every practice, game, and camp that his son attended. This past season I was impressed by how strong Krys was after finding out about his dad. He didn’t break down but I feel he became stronger and more dedicated to his family and love of hockey. Although his dad was not able to make many games, he watched some via Facetime. Krys knew his dad was rooting for him the whole time. The family has gone through so much these past six months and are trying to keep their spirits up.
I wanted to start this fund to help with Krys's financial needs in order to be able to go to the development camp in NY but also to help relieve the stress of paying for the 2019-2020 travel hockey season. His mom Maria is so strong and will not ask for any help but I feel without it Krys will not be able to play with his team.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
