My name is Shahrukh Nasim, I am visiting Northern Pakistan this summer and will be doing non-profit work and a collaboration project with the Provincial Youth Assembly (the collaboration is with the Youth Minister for Special Persons, Asghar Mohmand). I will be fundraising to help disabled kids from rural poor areas from the northern province obtain wheelchairs. One wheelchair of high quality is up to $80 per person, but I am trying to raise $3000-$5000 to help these kids (coming from low-income households) gain mobility in their local region. I would like to distribute 50-100 wheelchairs in the area. My initial target is $3000 but will be looking at a final target of $5000. Every donation counts and I can personally send you photos of which kid you benefitted along with their biographic information. The area has a prominent demand for wheelchairs, as these families can't afford a wheelchair to take their kids out and about. The prioritization categories for these wheelchairs will be young children/orphans, women and elderly. My main focus will be with kids who are orphans, as well as kids who come from poor rural backgrounds. All operational costs of the plane ticket and transportation will be on me. I hope you can help me change the lives of these exquisite children who need us more than ever. Together we can paint a beautiful life for these kids.

Biography:
Shahrukh Nasim is a Pakistani-American sustainability consultant, writer, and environmentalist. He is currently a master's candidate at Georgetown University concentrating in environmental science. Currently, Shahrukh works for the Department of Energy as a project manager for the office of Environmental Management in the nuclear sector. He has also worked as a youth delegate at the World Bank, United Nations, and as a youth ambassador of Global Peace Chain.
