I am building a leadership program that consist of black and brown young men who live in Oakland, Ca. In 2019, 33% of Latino males graduated from OUSD with the A-G requirements met. 56% of Black males. In my living the Dream program, 100% of black and Latino males graduated with their A-G requirements. 

We are looking to take a 4 day trip out of state in June with 10 young men to:
1. Expose the youth to the world outside of Oakland. Explore and open the mind.
2. Get them out of their comfort zone to look at the city from the outside, looking in.
3. Build a plan to impact other young black and brown men and the education system that serves them
4.  Discuss a violence prevention plan for Oakland how we take action
5. Have fun. Build brotherhood. Unite

Funds will be used for:
- Some flights
- Airbnb
- Rental van
- Food
- Supplies
