Youssef Driss was recently involved in a motorcycle accident. He needs our help asking a full recovery! As a friend of his, and one who was also involved an a motorcycle accident, its time to give back what he gave us. He was one of the first people to come see me, bring me food, and help me recover, along with others who have been unfortunate enough to go down on a bike. He has been a big part of our bike community, and this is what our community does. We help each other when we're in need. Youssef was a big part of a lot of the riders lives in Willington. He has a long road to recovery, and with everyone's help, we can make that recovery a little bit easier. Have it in your heart to help our fellow rider and friend.
Edit: Thank you all for your donations, as I'm sure you all know now, we ended up losing our good friend. As a bit of an update, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Vanessa Bezdany. I met Youssef about 5 years ago in the motorcycle community. We all quickly became such good of friends we called ourselves "bike fam". I am originally from upstate New York, but relocated to Wilmington NC 6 years ago to run away from snow. The funds will now be given to the family directly to help cover Youssefs medical expenses and funeral. It will be sent to the families home VIA certified check from the GoFundMe account I opened specifically for this.
