On Thursday 7/9/20, Yousef was the victim of gun violence. He was shot whilst in his car and then due to the force of the bullet, drove into a building. He is currently in the Hospital waiting to learn if he is going to be paralyzed permanently or not. He suffered injury to his right kidney and his liver. He also suffered a hemothorax within his chest cavity. The bullet is lodged in his spine between his T1 and T2 veterbrae. Everything is unclear except for the cost of his medical expenses. The surgery to remove the bullet is estimated to cost between $12,000.00- $14,000.00. Also, the expenses for handicap accessories for his home. We aren't asking for a lot but for people to donate and share what they can. Please, keep him in your prayers as we try and stay strong during this difficult time.
