Yousef needs our help and support

*Get Yousef Home for the Holidays!* *Yousef’s Story* Yousef arrived from Guinea 2002 on his uncles recommendation to make a life for himself in London. He fell on some hard times and luck. I met him in 2012 and noticed he was struggling and looking for a job. He offered to paint and decorate my flat. His work was very impressive and I was able to recommend him to friends and family - many of you - who also stood by his work and ethic. Unfortunately, his paperwork was incomplete so he continued to struggle financially and legally. Being passport-less, Yousef has not seen his mother, who he loves dearly, in over 12 years. He hasn’t seen his siblings or wider family in equally long. *The Good News* Finally, only a few weeks ago Yousef has been granted his residency! Watching the video chats with his mother and family is heartbreaking. Talking to the mother he loves dearly, and not being able to see her for this long He’s been working to save money to go back home. *The Set Back and the Ask* Yousef recently had a workplace accident and has been badly injured and cannot undertake his regular jobs which has completed crushed his hopes of seeing his family We’re raising money for our friend Yousef who needs our help. This time of the year, resolved around family and festivities - while we eat and drink, enjoying our time with our loved ones - let’s make sure Yousef can spend time with his!
