Kim and her Mom need our support, can you help?

I am sharing the story of an incredible co-worker and friend, Kim Hernandez who has demonstrated immense strength and resilience during one of the toughest of life events... caring for a loved one during illness.

Kim is her mom Vicki's sole caregiver and provider. Vicki is in home hospice care, battling stage 4 melanoma cancer and congestive heart failure, living with Kim, whose lease expires at the end of the month. Increased rent, mounting medical bills and unexpected events, make staying in her current accommodations impossible. She must find an alternative living situation near her mom's medical and hospice team. While Kim has managed to pay off a substantial amount of the medical bills, she is in immediate need of securing new living accommodations where she can continue caring for her mom. With minimal family support, it has become overwhelming for Kim, who is single-handedly managing it all.

By coming together as a compassionate community, we can make a profound difference in their lives.
