Welcome.

My Name is Mike Raven I'm 39 years old.

What do I do?

I love helping people. For the past 15 years. I've been helping people in different ways whether that be through, improving their physical or their mental health.

For the past five years, I have been inspired, by and have worked with shamanic practices, sound journeys, creative workshops and retreats with a focus towards our mental & physical well-being.

I have worked with a wide range of people from a really wide range of different backgrounds. From children that have had a difficult upbringing to young adults with autism, adults who suffer from depression, or people who are simply seeking some more peace and balance in their everyday life.

Some important work I’ve done recently has been in schools and alongside the local council with judges, lawyers and family councillors, creating awareness and focus on the deeper aspects of life, and connection to oneself and others.

All this work I’ve done has had, a big effect on all these different people, and it's also had a positive effect on me. It’s made me feel like I’m making a difference in people's lives.

Now, why have I created a go fund me page? And why now?

Well, recently on the 30th of September, my Father passed away suddenly from a heart attack. A couple of days later a close friend of my family passed away from cancer and one of my cousins has just been diagnosed with cancer and had been given only a couple of weeks/months to live.

I have always known life is precious, but these last couple of months have really put my life into perspective and now if ever, is the time to take this step.

I aim to travel to South America, in particular, Peru, as a lot of my teachings in the ceremonies I do, is inspired by there.

I want to expand my knowledge and learn from the teachers there, the medicine men & women who have dedicated their lives, to the arts of healing, meditation, ceremony connecting with nature and working with the land around them.

To be able to bring back and share, this knowledge, wisdom and way of connecting with each other and one self would be such an honour and I’m sure it will have an impact on many lives, as I see the work that I do already does.

The work that I do is the best work ever and I would not change it for anything, it’s an honour.

But this work isn’t the highest paid of jobs, which is alright, but this trip to Peru won’t be cheap.

So, this is why I am reaching out to you, the community and asking for support.

Support so I can travel, and learn, support so I can properly pay the teachers I will meet, and who will share their knowledge with me, and support so I can positively impact the communities and the families of the teachers.

A donation to help me won’t stop here. It will help people all over the world and make a positive impact on so many others all over the world.

New years eve I have been in contact with a couple of people living in Cusco Peru, and they will help me plan the start of my journey with The Q'ero people I will be aiming to travel there around this coming spring 2023 for about three months.

I am also in the process of planning some volunteer work when I'm in South America.
