Hi everyone! My name is Violet Middlebrook from America and I am helping my friend Salma Mohammed in Gaza raise money for her disabled brother, Hasan Waleed, and his family. He has two young children and just recently lost his youngest child. Here is what Salma has to say:

After 15 months of war and genocide, and after our daily life turned into a battle for survival, more than two million people in Gaza were forced to start their lives from scratch or even below zero. At that moment, they will realize that what matters most to them has already been lost. So I decided to ask a friend for help in creating a donation campaign so that I can start a new life away from humiliation, poverty and disease, especially after we knocked on every door and no one helped us, not even the so-called charities. My family lives in a tent that lacks all the necessities of life, especially in the winter. We woke up several times and the rain was pouring down on us. All I want is to extend a helping hand to my small family to buy a good tent and buy us healthy food and treatment, and help my disabled brother and his two innocent children, and give us a chance in life to feel that we are human beings and have the right to life.
