Hi,
My name is Modupe, I am here with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit.
As a parent, I want nothing more than to empower my daughters, make them independent and self reliant, this includes giving them a quality education and helping them pursue their dreams.
My daughters Abisola and Amiha are bright, curious and compassionate young girls with a passion for learning, they exhibited their excellence all through high school by coming top of their classes in all their grades bagging awards and certificates of achievement in all their subjects.
- ABISOLA started her dream of becoming an accountant at the University of Johannesburg, she plans to do her honours, her articles, then board exams to be a chartered accountant. She has excelled and scaled through financial hurdles to complete her Second year of study, she is to start her Third and Final year journey to bagging a BSc Accounting degree in January.
- AMIHA, with her dream to become a Veterinary Microbiologist started her journey towards a degree in Life and Environmental Science in Physiology and Zoology in January 2025 at University of Johannesburg, financial constraints caused her to lose her Orange carpet position at the University of Johannesburg and was on the verge of losing her admission then too. Despite all the financial challenges throughout the year she ended her first year with distinctions.
Starting off the school year had been so challenging, as a parent I had gone all out taking small loans which I am struggling to pay back because I am not fully employed for a while now, I applied for loans from my bank but I didn't qualify for it because of my foreign nationality according to them, I resulted to selling some of my little possessions which didn't generate much. With help from families and friends parts of the tuition and accomodation fees were settled but with each passing month the outstanding fees accumulates interests that increases the outstanding amount monthly.
Following their exams for the year in November the girls have not been able to check their results because of their outstanding fees, though they got notifications of their progress to their next year of study which might just remain a notification if their outstanding fees are not cleared and 40% of the next semester fees paid before the deadline, registration for the next semester starts from the 13th of January 2026.
I am fundraising for my daughters to be able to continue their journey at the university of Johannesburg and transform their dreams into reality, I hope to see them reach their full potential and become, strong, bold and talented women.
Every money raised will go directly towards their tuition, books and residence, allowing them to enrolled and keep moving on their paths to becoming a Chartered Accountant and a Veterinary Microbiologist.
Your generous donation today, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to achieving my daughters dreams. With your help, they can pursue their passion, broaden their horizons, and create a brighter future for themselves and others.
Apart from asking for financial aid, I am also asking for your belief in my daughters potentials, your encouragement, and your shared vision for a world where every child has that opportunity to learn and grow, pursue their dreams and make a difference.
Together, We can make a difference, invest in and create a future filled with hope and opportunities.
Together, we can create a ripple effect of change.
If by chance you are unable to donate at this time, please consider sharing my fundraiser with your network, every share brings us one step closer to the goal.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I am grateful for your support, no matter the form it takes. Let's invest in the future together and create a legacy of love, hope and educational excellence.
With gratitude,
