Hello! My name is Melanie. My nephew Frank is 6 years old. Frank was born with cerebral palsy and he is unable to walk or sit up properly without support. He is nonverbal and Frank has limited use of his hands. He is a very happy and otherwise healthy little boy.

I'm posting this to try to help purchase a new “activity chair” as he has grown out of the one he has had for about 5 years. He needs this chair desperately because it helps keep him upright with support in his core while stabilizing his legs while he does daily activities like eat, therapies, play with toys and allow him to have time after meals to sit still while his food digests. The Rifton Activity Chair will need to be custom built for Frank’s size and needs and will cost around $3500. My sister Rachel is an amazing single mom, and will not be able to afford the chair by herself and I am humbly asking for any help I can get to put towards the chair.
