Hi, my name is Sarah and I wanted to celebrate the gift of Lou. Our sweet dear Lou is like the unofficial, official mascot of Lower School. The gate keeper of our children, the warm smile that makes every morning feel right, a thousand + waves given out daily, the holiday decor on his command booth and most of all a heart of genuine gold. Lou, our beloved fixture, is retiring at the end of this school year.

With a heavy heart, he and his wife are moving to Missouri to find a little relief from California’s never ending price increases. His love for the kids, this community and the school runs deep. He has expressed much sadness and a few tears talking about how hard it will be to leave and how BIG of a blessing it has been for him these last four years.

Lou, has left a lasting impression on so many of us—so many sweet moments and memories exchanged! I ask that we give back a fraction of what he has given us and our country (he’s a retired veteran) by sending him off with a little support to make things a little less stressful.

He will be missed, never replaced and always a treasure.
