Support for Amanda McDaniel

I can’t begin to put into words how hard this year has been for my mom and what she’s gone through. My mom had a stroke last May, which has deeply impacted not only her health but also our family. In addition to having a stroke, she lost her job. She has been hospitalized countless times and is currently on bed rest. She is the most hardworking and strongest woman I know, but a stroke isn’t easy. She is unable to work, walk far, and has lost crucial parts of her brain function.

She is currently on 14 different medications and has been diagnosed with POTS. Along with the stroke, she was also told that she had a heart attack. She constantly passes out, and it’s heartbreaking to see her struggle with so many health issues. She has to attend frequent appointments and cannot afford all the medications she’s been prescribed.

She has three kids, including me, and feels uncomfortable having to ask for financial help, as she has always been smart, strong, and resilient. However, she cannot pay for all her medications, bills, gas, or the other expenses of daily life. Only through the grace of God has she come this far, and I’m believing in Him to continue upholding and guiding her.
